With an extra hour, we can add Strahov Monastery and its remarkable baroque library. These are alternatives rather than stops to squeeze into one itinerary, keeping the walk relaxed.

The Old Town & New Town tour pairs beautifully with this one, but it deserves a separate day. That gives both sides of the river enough time and leaves you space to wander Prague's streets on your own.

For the interiors — St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica, and the Golden Lane — a Castle ticket is needed. We can pick one up together on the day, or you can buy ahead in busier months. The walk through Hradčany and the courtyards needs no ticket at all.
It is a gentle uphill walk through Hradčany with some cobbled lanes and a few stairs inside the complex. The pace is unhurried and we pause often, so the route can be softened for families or anyone who prefers fewer steps.
The starting point is agreed in advance and usually chosen for convenience — often near your hotel or a landmark on the Castle side of the river. I will share clear directions and a meeting spot once we have set the date.
The suggested length is 3–4 hours, including time inside the monuments. If you have less time, we can focus on Hradčany and the courtyards; with an extra hour we can add the Strahov Monastery and its baroque library.
Yes. Instead of starting in Hradčany, we can approach through the Lesser Town and reach the Charles Bridge, pairing the Castle with one of Prague's most iconic landmarks. The Old Town side is best kept for a separate day.
The Castle is beautiful in every mood, and much of the interior visit is indoors. We can adjust the route on the day, and if needed I will suggest a comfortable alternative plan.
